The Year In Review
What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before?
Gave birth naturally. Got my nose re-pierced in a tattoo parlor
(first time was on the street in Berkeley with a piercing gun)
Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions? Will you make more for 2006?
I’m not really into resolutions. It’s a new year and a clean slate.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The conception and birth of my second son.

Anything by Miranda Lambert or Johnny Cash
What events merited celebration?
Birth of my second son Aidan – Birth of my best friends first child –
Ruby My little sister got married – Our dear friends the McNastys also got hitched!
Did anyone close to you give birth?
My very best, dearest oldest pretty much is my sister friend
Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully not this year
What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sleeping
What do you wish you’d done less of?
Being an insecure, crying, looking at what I don’t have, over eating
What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Sleep(wishful thinking) and Self Control

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 29 and we had a big party that involved not just my birthday, but the birthday of two friends, the first wedding anniversary of another and a new job for another…you should have seen the cake-we didn’t leave anyone out!
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being closer to family
