I made a mistake…I’ve been asking everyone to make a MyPickList badge when really what I should have said was make a MyPicklist widget. A widget is the get little customized box I’ve been broadcasting my list on. It’s nice because I can show you everything right here on my page. Now if a widget is a bit too much for your page but you still want to make and broadcast your list you can use one their many badges The creators of MyPickList are definitely headed in the right direction-user friendly options and a way to make money. Here’s a few badges…

My trip to Florida was wonderful. Jennifer and I have know each other since 5th grade and seeing her as mom was something a really looked forward to. I wanted to see her life-know what I mean? We live 3000 miles from each other so I see pictures and talk to her on the phone but that doesn’t really show you a life. She’s good mom. I think some times she doubts her abillities but she runs a tight ship and is doing an amazing job with Ruby. Such a smart happy little girl. Pictures just don’t do her justice. She’s so expressive with a tiny strong voice. What a joy to wake up each morning to a little “Hi” followed by angelic chatter as she ran from the room arms throw up in the pure joy of running. So many sweet memories. Her husband and I have spent very little time together over the course of their marriage and when I say very little I mean I met him four years ago at their wedding. Beyond that we’ve talked here and there on the phone but that is it. In my weekend I learned that he is an amazingly patient man who works very hard to take care of my best friend and their daughter. I was brought to tears when I walked in on him dancing her to sleep while James Taylor played softly in the background. This was something my dad did with me. Seeing them together made me extremely home sick. I want nothing more then to bring our families together. We already share so many traditions I can’t even imagine life with them next door.
