January Challenge – Personal History
I’ve posted this photo before… it is my favorite. I took it my junior year in college. I dropped out after the first semester my first junior year…then finally got back 3 years later to finally get my bachelors of fine arts. It was during this second try at college that I really found photography. I took so many courses that I ended up with a minor in it. I could spend hours in the dark room exploring the printing process and then days wondering my neighborhood looking for the beauty in my every day. It was a very good time in my life. A time I remember when I see this photo. It also captured a version of me that only exists in my fantasies. The flawless, young, striking me.
