Crazy Weekend…

And it’s not even over yet 🙂 Well first I’d like to say Thanks for all the support and warm comments-just the encouragement I needed! And on to the weekend thus far…

Two of our close friends are getting married tomorrow and the festivities started friday with an all day BBQ at Baker Beach. I always love going into the city especially when it involves hanging out in The Presidio. Pretty much all the old gang is in town which always means crazyness. The BBQ was great- good food and we got to meet the families of both friends, now I know why they’re both such wonderful people. The boys were really popular…Bub was all over the place talking to everyone while piling as much sand as possible into whatever on his body would holdit-really when we got home enough sand came off him to start our own beach in the back yard. He had several older girls at his beck and call. Then Aid couldn’t smile and coo enough. Anyone that came close enough got a warm smile and he had no problem being passed around to everyone who wanted to hold him. We got lots of compliments on everything from how happy and social they both are to how much control Aid already has over his body. Nothing like a group of other mom’s ewwwing and awwwing over your kids to make you feel good about life.

Then today we were going to hang around and clean but decided to go to the First Annual Blemont Festival. Ev does freelance for a company called EPC and they had a booth set up-so we went to show our support. Not that they needed it…they had the coolest booth there. They had a slot machine 🙂 It was a really cool little festival with local artists and businesses. There was music, food and games with prizes. Best of all though was the kiddie section-a petting zoo with a pot belly pig! There were also pony rides so of course we got in line. All the ponies were tied to a carousel type thing so they only went around in a circle. Four ponies and one burro, who does Bub choose to ride-the burro. And boy was he happy-didn’t want any help staying on and definitely didn’t want to get off. They also had those big blow up slides and a bounce house. Amazingly enough Bub climbed like a pro up then flew down the slides. We were sure he’d be scared and want one of us to come with him-NOPE! He’s getting way too big for his britches. No fear what so ever 🙂 Tomorrow will be a crazy day too…we have church in the morning and then the wedding in the afternoon. I can’t wait to post pictures of the boys we got them little sweater vest outfits and Bub’s came with a tie. They are going to be so cute! Life is good 🙂
